3D Performance

Although all notebooks participating in our today’s test session are equipped with discrete Nvidia graphics cards of different types, we decided to perform a few tests describing their speed in 3D applications. However, since these results will not have anything to do with the prospects of the new Santa Rosa platform, this section of our article is just a nice addition, which doesn’t have any effect on the final conclusions.

First of all, let’s check out the notebooks performance in 3DMark tests.

Although these results give us an excellent idea of how powerful the graphics subsystems of our testing participants are, we have also performed a few rounds of tests in real games.
