Ha. Seems to me that this is very similar to anti-hyper-threading introduced by AMD. Only that this look less sophisticated.
In my opinion, coexistence of those 2 technology will be easy. Advanced Smart Cache can ulilize whole cache, but cannot power down 2nd core. While CM can disable one core, but alone it say nothing about using whole cache for the one core that is on. And when is one core idle(not off), it still uses very small portion of cache and also drain energy.
