Kindly compare clearly with Pentium D 3.0 Ghz & Dual Core 1.6 Ghz E 2140 Processor alone. If it is available already , kindly give the website address.

There's a part of the article where what you're saying is inaccurate.

"Although I have to specify something here. When we speak of comparatively high performance of these new processors, it is important to keep in mind that they still lose to the youngest Athlon 64 X2 models in most games where the size of L2 cache memory matters a lot."

It is inaccurate because almost all Athlon 64 X2 models have either 2x512KB or 2x1MB L2 cache, which is not shared like Conroe so they effectively only have 512KB or 1MB L2 per core.

They have equal or less cache than the E2xxx chips.

OK article. Nothing I haven't seen anywhere else. However, the spelling and grammar are horrible. Makes XBitlabs look unprofessional. Hire a copy editor or someone to proofread these articles!

I own the E2160
and i must say that it is awesome even when not overclocked.
But as you can see, when overclocked, it becomes one mean little processor!

Happy Overclocking!

"OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate x86."

Who cares - throw 32 bit in the trash - it's done.

I have an E2160 running at 3.1 GHz (350X9) stable, at default voltages, and find it a great "temporary" CPU, while waiting for quad-core Penryns to come down in price over the next year. I find no problem at all in playing 1st person shooter games and achieve acceptable frame rates.
