"Toshiba Corp. on Tuesday said ..."
Which Tuesday? Today? Last Tuesday?
Warner are hypocrites. In previous articles, they say they are going to support HD DVD even though they decided Blu-Ray.
If I were the stores, I would provide both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. This will bring in more customers. I think a store picking one format will make me the customer and others mad.
It is ashame that Toshiba is stop making HD DVD players. Though they are not a good company to begin with.
I see no difference in quality comparing DVD and HD Video like there is comparing VHS and DVD. Also DVD provides additional features that VHS lack such as longevity, no rewinding, deleted scenes, how the movie was created, and several others. HD Video is all hype. I am into paying for downloading services than buying hard copies. Downloading movies and TV shows is the future.
