Intel was about to suicide into red hot hell with its ultimate MoboBurster (not NetBurster) named Tejas. But happilly salvaged by cool runner named Core pilgrimed from holy place.
Ahhh but where is messiah for AMD?? From Rochester? I hope.
Much worse, Oregon will strike back soon by its old-school hyper threading tech!! (a la simultaneous multi threading)
Of course their enemy is NOT Phenom anyway BUT Core itseldf to restore their honor!!

I find it hard to believe that they could only get 2.7 @ 1.4V out of this CPU. I'm running 2.83GHz @ 1.325 volts stable on Asus M3A32MVP on the stock cooler and just waiting for my THC cooler so I can take it over 3GHz. I don't know how well that DFI board works but only 2.7 @ 1.4 is crap...
