Correction: 22” models with *VA matrixes are not just 'rumors and announcements'. They are actually available - at least here in Europe. My 22” Eizo with S-PVA(http://www.eizo.com/products/lcd/s2231w/index.asp) will arrive at my doorstep today. Joy! Also Lenovo L220x will give you a S-PVA in 22”. But agree that the selection to chose from is not overwhelming at the moment :-)

I have the 226CW since august last year and I was waiting for a decent review, thx. I confirm the vertical viewing angle is terribly low. Top is darker.

Isn't Asus VW222u fast enough for "Games that do require a fast matrix"? It's faster than Samsung 2232BW which is recommended so.
