Buying this board will set you back by 200€ in Europe, this translates into app. 315$. The Cellshock kit cost another 280€, or 440$. Hence, you will have to pay 755$ for the mainboard and the memory alone, left aside the fact the 2GB of system memory are far from being considered enough for a high-end system today. Sounds a bit too much for me.
If I were to assemble a computer system today, I would definitely go for P35... However, If one could afford the waiting, Nehalem is the way to go - DDR3 is simply an overkill even for speeds above FSB400 with antique chipsets like these today. And with such prices, it's simply ridiculous.
