Straight to the point! - I really like the power consumption measurements, too, and don't really remember seeing such precise number anywhere else. Overall, a very strong review, exemplary for xbit labs, congratulations!
By the way, It's the first time I see someone speaking of the upcoming nVidia core, although some numbers for the RV770 have been floating around the web for a while. Let's see what google has to say about it :)

why didnt u guys use the catalyst 8.4 drivers which seem to be optimized to perform better in tomb raider?
clearly u seemed to have enough time to use those since they were released at least a month before this review came out...

How about testing the 9800GTX on a X48 motherboard?
Looking at other reviews, the 9800GTX is just a bit faster than 8800GTX except in some games at really high resolutions.
9800GTX performs better in DX10 and it is cheaper than 8800GTX (at least in Europe)
