When these devices will be 150$ , I'll buy one. Until then, I'm not even considering no matter the features.

Agreed, they are charging for top of the line tech but are only using the most basic of components that should only cost, at most, a hundred bucks

They want to bleed the consumer both ends, charging wayyy too much for the reader, then making huge profits supplying the books in digital format

the people who previously have commented must never shop at BN. Barnes & Noble has some of the highest prices period for anything it sells. a major reason for that(besides huge profits) is to keep their clientele in the upper-middle class and above range. as a former employee i can tell you they have no intention of lowering the price of any of their items unless they drop to abysmally low levels of popularity. the SALE prices of most of their items are 50-75% more than the regular best buy or walmart prices. at best you might get a discount with the pay for membership program they offer, potentially a good deal if you spend hundreds of dollars a year there. i will say that they offer some sales that anyone should take advantage of: the buy 2 get one free dvd sale they have once or twice a year makes buying box sets worth it. other than that they are a company who treats their employees poorly and will do anything to make a buck, just like every other major employer, especially in retail...

Barnes & Noble jumps on the e-reader bandwagon with the introduction of nook. The company states that nook is the first Android-based eBook reader and the first to offer a color touch screen for navigation in addition to the E Ink display. It might be worth an instant cash loan for a Barnes and Noble Nook.
