Microprocessor makers do not like overclocking and overclockers, but people continue to set their CPUs to function on higher clock-speeds and offer them better performance. Intel Celeron series processors have always provided sufficient speed for typical SOHO users and applications, however, these chips have always been pretty overclockable and I can remember the Celeron 300A and 1000A microprocessors that were very popular because of their ability to work on much higher clock-speeds and achieve new performance heights.

Our friends from OverClockers.ru web-site managed to overclock their Celeron 2.0GHz up to 3.0GHz without having to increase the Vcore. They set the baby’s FSB to 150MHz (600MHz Quad Pumped Bus) and thanks to 0.13 micron manufacturing technology, the CPU worked well at 1.5 higher clock-speed with standard cooling system.

Have they achieved the new height in the speed, though? Not at all. The overclocked Celeron only slightly outperformed Pentium 4 1.60A running on its default core-speed. See the rest here.

1.
I read the publishment "Celeron 2.0GHz Becomes Celeron 3.0GHz. World’s Record! Does it Boost the Performance?" of Anton Shilov.

I want my CPU 2.0Ghz upto 3.0Ghz. How can I do ?

Please send me that way.
Thank a lot!
