The day X the industry has been waiting for is tomorrow – the 23rd of September 2003 – the day when 64-bit microprocessors for desktop and mobile computers will enter this world. After more than a year of waiting it will be over!

AMD announced that it would webcast the San Francisco launch event for the AMD Athlon 64 processor for desktop and notebook PCs on Tuesday, September 23, 2003. The live webcast stream will begin at 10:00 AM. PDT (1:00 PM EDT) and conclude approximately one hour later. The live audio and video broadcast of the presentation will be available here.

But what you all are really curious about is performance of AMD Athlon 64 and Athlon 64 FX microprocessors against the competitors. Be sure to check X-bit labs during launch conference of AMD Athlon 64-series. There will be a massive surprise for you, we promise.
