NVIDIA Corporation yesterday announced the Company will preview its upcoming NVIDIA nForce4 core-logic solutions for Intel CPUs which includes support for NVIDIA SLI graphics technology, at CeBIT 2005 in Hannover, Germany.
<%BANNER[article]%>The official launch of the product is scheduled for next month, however we have already shred some news about the nForce4 Intel Edition with you in our CeBIT 2005 Day 1 Coverage.
"The arrival of NVIDIA nForce4 technology to Intel processor-based PCs will provide some exciting new choices for our customers," said Maurits Tichelman, Director Sales and Distribution, Reseller Channel Operations Europe Middle East & Africa at Intel. "The enthusiast market has welcomed NVIDIA SLI technology innovation with open arms, and the performance advantage it can bring to games and heavy-duty tasks compliments the ever growing performance of Intel’s processors."
In a keynote presentation on Thursday March 10th, Drew Henry, general manager of MCP business at NVIDIA and David Roman, vice president of corporate marketing at NVIDIA was speaking about “Developing the New Enthusiast PC” and SLI technology, integrated firewall security, and increased protection for the safe storage of digital media files and content.
In fact NVIDIA has partners developing solutions based on the new nForce4 Intel Edition chipset. A few dummy boards were already demonstrated at the IDF in San Francisco two weeks ago:
