SiS finally officially announced their sales results for the year 2002. I have no idea why they only released this information in late January, but, at least, they did it at last. Needless to say that thanks to the license on Quad Pumped Bus as well as successful sales of graphics chips, SiS managed to dramatically improve its annual revenues about 1.5 times.
| SiS Revenues in 2002 in US$ million | ||
| Month | 2002 | Annual Trend |
| January | 35 | +143% |
| February | 31 | +29% |
| March | 37 | +23% |
| April | 35 | +11% |
| May | 31 | +28% |
| June | 30 | +65% |
| July | 33 | +74% |
| August | 38 | +61% |
| September | 49 | +84% |
| October | 52 | +79% |
| November | 52 | +109% |
| December | 37 | +53% |
| Total | ~450~460 | ~+58% |
SiS results for the second half of the year and for January are simply amazing: up to 143% of year-on-year growth. In case SiS continues to have Quad Pumped Bus license, they will definitely improve their revenues once again, when Intel launches its powerful Pentium 4 and Prescott processors later this year. Remember that SiS prepares to unleash the Xabre II VPU at CeBIT 2003 and also have a lot of plans to strengthen the sales of its non-core-logic related products.
