I saw over at this Korean web-site that Chaintech has just announced a new mainboard aka CT-7SJR based on SiS745 chipset (see this news story for more details on the chipset). Here is a pic for you:

Chaintech CT-7SJR

The mainboard is designed in ATX form-factor, supports Socket A CPUs. It is equipped with 3 DIMM slots for up to 3GB PC2700/PC2100/PC1600 DDR SDRAM. Besides, there are 6 PCI slots, an AGP 4x slot, 6-channel C-media CMI8738 sound controller, integrated ATA/100 RAID controller from Promise.

In general, the name 7SJR is not new for Chaintech. Last October the company ahs already announced a mainboard under this model name (see this news story). However, it was based on SiS735 chipset (the SiS745’s predecessor). Time passed and the mainboard mass supplies didn’t get started (probably it was the SiS chipsets shortage, which is to blame here). Now the company is offering another mainboard under the same model name built on a newer SiS chipset, which is fully pin-compatible with the predecessor. I hope that Chaintech will have enough chipsets this time :)
