AnandTech has investigated Intel’s 90nm Pentium M 755 processor based on the code-named Dothan core. With 90nm production process, 2MB of L2 cache, improved pre-fetch mechanisms as well as revamped system of access to CPU’s registers, the second silicon implementation of the Pentium M processor got all that it takes to be the king of mobile processors.

Memory

Yet another review of Corsair’s latest product has been posted on bit-tech. This time the guys try the well-known dual-channel kit with extremely low latencies: TwinX1024-3200XL PRO. Surprisingly, the modules not only perfectly run at 400MHz and 433MHz, but also prove to be nice overclockers hitting more than 500MHz.

Storage

Tom’s Hardware Guide has posted a review about RAID 5 technology. The main idea of this review is to determine the ideal number of hard disk drives to be used in RAID 5 arrays. Configurations of three to eight HDDs have been used in order to find out which is the best performance solution for RAID 5.

Graphics Cards

HotHardware has reviewed AOpen GeForce FX 5900 XT graphics card. This is one of these cards, sporting a faster GPU clocked at 420MHz, custom cooling solution and an attractive price-point for a mid-level 3D gaming graphics card.
